Bugatti launches new supercar – Limited production of 40 units, starting price of more than 4.7 million USD


After rumors of a green light last week, Bugatti Bolide was officially recognized by the parent brand as being put into production for the wealthy.Â
According to the French brand’s sharing at The Quail event taking place in California, USA, this pure racing supercar is currently limited to 40 units, with a starting price of more than 4.7 million USD and will Handed over to customers around the world in 2024.Â

The ideas of the French brand are to put the famous 8.0L W16 engine in the lightest racing chassis, optimizing aerodynamics and the best downforce without being limited by public operating regulations. , to unleash the maximum potential of this engine line.
The highlight is a series of front air vents and a sharply shaped nose, simulating F1 racing car technology, as well as the spoiler and rear diffuser. At the same time, the entire car body is made as low as possible to create the best viewing position for the user.

Using the W16 engine on the Bugatti Bolide is completely upgraded compared to the original Chiron, producing a maximum capacity of 1,824 horsepower, 1,850 Nm of torque when using pure racing 110 octane gasoline. However, the regular version can also use popular RON 98 gasoline with the same parameters as the Chiron Super Sport (1,600 horsepower and 1,600 Nm). The vehicle weight is 200kg heavier than the concept (1,450 compared to 1,240 kg) but the power-to-weight ratio is quite good at 0.9.
