With the participation of Project Maybach, Drake’s “Sticky” MV has excellently surpassed 1.8 million views on Youtube after only 1 day of release. Surely Mercedes is also very pleased with its concept car being promoted by famous artists like Drake.

This Project Maybach concept is the product of a collaboration between renowned fashion designer Virgil Abloh and Daimler Design Director, Gorden Wagner. The car has a very long roof, with a transparent bonnet that helps the panels located below to absorb solar energy, thereby increasing the vehicle’s operating range.

Despite being an electric car, Project Maybach is still equipped with a grille with a characteristic design. However, this part of the grille has no cooling effect because the entire steering wheel is covered with a transparent glass panel.

The cluster of lights at the front of the car is round, integrated with LED daytime running lights – a detail inspired by Mercedes-AMG G63. Project Maybach is also equipped with a large silver anti-slip plate to ensure the best off-road ability.

In the direction of a luxury car, the body of Project Maybach is painted in an impressive black / brown two-tone color, accompanied by a large roof rack with 4 LED lights to bring a feeling of health and a bit of dust. . At the rear, the rear of the car continues the same design theme with round taillights and perforated silver anti-slip plates.

The cockpit of Project Maybach also has an equally “strange” design, with an ax placed next to the door or a storage box for repair accessories located in the corner of the dashboard. The seat also has a rather fancy design, the sides are shaped like an industrial suitcase. Notably, even the driver’s seat can be fully folded flat to provide a resting space for passengers.

One of the two designers who made this concept is Virgil Abloh, the creative director of Louis Vuitton, who died unexpectedly on November 28 from a rare cancer. It is known that Abloh was diagnosed with this disease in 2019 but did not share it to the outside. During the past 2 years, Abloh has undergone many treatments and continues to work on his design.
