Jason Statham’s Vintage Jaguar E-Type Contributes $5 Million to Support African Children in Difficult Circumstances

On a recent Saturday night, at the annual charity auction in Beverly Hills, Hollywood actor Jason Statham’s 1960 Jaguar E-Type was sold for a whopping $5 million. The car, known for its sleek design and vintage charm, had been in Statham’s collection for years, but he decided to part ways with it in order to raise funds for impoverished children in Africa.

The auction, which was attended by many notable celebrities and philanthropists, was hosted by the prestigious auction house, Sotheby’s. The bidding for the Jaguar E-Type started at $1 million, but quickly escalated as many collectors recognized the car’s value and its unique history. The car was eventually purchased by a private collector, whose name has not been disclosed.
