Kanye West’s Stunning Diamond-encrusted Sandals Are Causing A Stir At London Fashion Week.

On September 26, Kanye West attended Burberry’s spring/summer 2023 show at London Fashion Week and as usual, his surprise appearance sparked discussion on social media. While the rapper and fashion designer went with his signature hoodie and leather jacket combo, he went wild with his footwear: black socks paired with sparkly flip-flops.

Presumably wearing Burberry pieces, West’s black ensemble consisted of leather pants and a matching button-down jacket with sleeves tied around the waist, which he wore over a dark hoodie. In contrast, his sandals appear to be made of foam — yes, like the kind they sell at nail salons — and are lined with silver crystals along the straps.

Inspired by the English seaside, Burberry’s rescheduled show welcomed Naomi Campbell, Bella Hadid, Irina Shayk and more to strut the catwalk in layered, deconstructed, fusion looks both underwear and outerwear. West sat in the star-studded front row with celebrities like Stormzy, Erykah Badu, Normani, Lori Harvey and Chlöe and posed for photos with Campbell backstage after the show.

This certainly isn’t the first time West’s outfits and style choices have caused confusion among fans and critics alike. Many people weren’t fans of the Yeezy founder’s chunky moon boots that he’s worn virtually everywhere in recent months and his full-body mask at the BET Awards in November. 6 has made many people worried. His latest appearance comes a week after the official end of West and Gap’s Yeezy partnership, which produced a collection that reportedly sold out of trash bags in stores.
