Manhart Performance is famous in the world of car tuning through the versions related to luxury models BMW, Audi and Mercedes. However, sometimes, Manhart Performance also “changes the wind” with other impressive versions, such as the Porsche 911 Turbo or most recently the super SUV Lamborghini Urus.
In its original form, Lamborghini Urus is equipped with a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine, producing a maximum capacity of 641 horsepower and maximum torque of 850 Nm. With that much power, the Urus beat Bentley Bentayga to become the world’s most powerful commercial luxury SUV.
During the world premiere at its factory in Italy at the end of 2017, Lamborghini declared the Urus the most powerful SUV in the world. In fact, this title belongs to the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk with a capacity of 707 horsepower, but aimed at a special customer group in the US, so it is not mentioned by many people.
However, it seems that Manhart is not satisfied with this Urus, this tuner thinks that Urus is more capable than that. The V8 engine of the Lamborghini super SUV can still be enhanced when it comes to famous tuning companies in the world.
So Manhart has provided a custom package for the Urus, giving the super SUV up to 801 hp and 980 Nm of peak torque. After tuning the powertrain, the Manhart version was able to accelerate from 0-100km / h a few tenths faster than the Urus’ standard 3.6 seconds.
With the above parameters, Manhart’s customized Lamborghini Urus is even more powerful than Lamborghini’s flagship supercar, the Aventador SVJ with a naturally aspirated V12 engine, 6.5L capacity for a maximum capacity of 759 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. maximum torque of 720 Nm.
To get this “super” power, the engineering team at Manhart made adjustments to the ECU engine software, installed an improved turbocharger as well as a sports exhaust system for the Urus. And yet, Manhart also added an 8-speed automatic transmission to the car to maintain handling.
In addition to the engine upgrades, Manhart also retouched the beauty of the Lamborghini Urus, enough for car enthusiasts to distinguish the custom car from the original Urus. Specifically, the front bumper, hood, side skirts, extended wheel arches, rear spoiler and diffuser in the rear bumper are made from ultra-light carbon fiber.
In addition, the car’s appearance is accented with black stripes and 21-inch wheels, with Y-spokes, shod with Pirelli P-Zero tires.
