The Czech company, Bureko, has unveiled their latest creation, a three-axle SUV named Bureko 6×6, which is based on the previous generation Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck. However, it is not just a stretched version of the standard car, but a completely modified SUV with a tandem rear axle.
The Bureko 6×6 has undergone significant technical and external modifications, including a set of visual overlays that completely changes the appearance of the American pickup truck. The front grille, with six vertical slots, is clearly inspired by Hummer SUVs. The cargo area, the inside of the wheel arches, the sills, and the toolboxes are treated with a Line-X XS-100 protective coating.
At its core, the Bureko 6×6 is powered by a standard 420-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 engine from the Chevrolet Silverado. However, the company offers six options for engine refinement, which can raise the output of the power unit to 600-1200 horsepower. All versions come with an eight-speed automatic transmission, all-wheel drive to all six wheels, and locking differentials. The rear axles are air-suspended, and all wheels are shod with 35-inch off-road tires on 20-inch rims.
Despite its serious off-road capabilities, the Bureko 6×6 pickup is also equipped with various luxury features, including a Bose audio system, a rear-view camera, remote keyless entry, dual-zone automatic climate control, 8-way adjustable front seats (which also have ventilation and heating), and much more.
However, upon closer inspection of the photos, it is evident that the Bureko 6×6 has the Hennessey inscription on its bodywork. It turns out that the Czech company is illegally using the American brand, claiming that the body kit is manufactured by Hennessey, when in fact it is not. Hennessey has sent an official request to the Czechs, and they have agreed to stop mentioning the Texas brand in their works.
In summary, the Bureko 6×6 is a heavily modified SUV, based on the Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, that offers serious off-road capabilities along with luxury features. However, the company has been caught using the Hennessey brand name without authorization, and they have agreed to cease this practice.
